So Much To Be Thankful For

This Series will focus on marriage. I will share some of the ups and downs that my husband and I have gone through, things we have learned, and advice that we have been given that I think is beneficial for others to hear!

Canadian Thanksgiving is here! I love Thanksgiving. It isn’t my favourite holiday (that would be Christmas), but I love the fall air, the food, and spending time with my family. I also like how Thanksgiving reminds me to look at all the things in my life that I should be thankful for. And this year, I have so much to be thankful for.

This year, I am thankful for my wonderful husband, for my amazing family, and for my baby!

Yes, you read right! I am pregnant! After 4 years, our prayers are answered!

I am so thankful to my family, my friends, and those in my life who have been praying for Nathan and me for these last 4 years! You have no idea how much all of your prayers have meant to us. When we told people that we were expecting a baby, almost everyone mentioned how long they have been praying. Hearing that, it made me feel so loved. Knowing that the people in our lives care, and were praying for so long… I had to hold back tears on more than one occasion.

This year, I am thankful for all those who prayed for Nathan and me. For those who helped us through our difficult moments. Those who offered up their own suffering for us. For all those in our lives who care for us. Thank you, everyone!

God is so good! His timing isn’t always what we wish it was, but it is always perfect. For those who are going through their own struggles of infertility, please know that I am praying for you. Remember that God is good, and that there is so much that we have to be thankful for.
